This was the only part Evan didn't like.

Evan's Baptism
Sorry it took so long to post pictures. It was a wonderful weekend of visiting with family and friends, and most especially celebrating Evan's baptism. Even still, we missed all of our family who were unable to make it. It wasn't quite the same without you.

On the move.
Since learning to walk, Evan has become quite the explorer. He gets into EVERYTHING!!! His exploration has kept us on our toes lately, but we're having such a good time watching him discover the world around him.
Evan loves playing in the kitchen. On one particular evening, he decided to empty this cupboard and climb inside. He loved that he could stand inside and look out at us. There are now only a couple drawers that are not child-proofed. There's even one non-child-proofed drawer designated just for him!
Speaking of walking...
(Please excuse our mess in this video. We found traces of another mouse the other day and I am now in massive cleaning mode again. Anything the mouse might have touched has been scrubbed profusely, including Evan. It only took one day to catch the mouse, but we didn't notice the little critter until later in the evening. Actually, Evan is the one who noticed him in the trap, and proceeded to play with his tail until I started screaming.)
Evan's love of animals extends beyond rodents. He absolutely loved the two cats at our friend's house yesterday, giggling every time they let him get near. And he can't get enough of our neighbors' dogs. He got to pet one neighbor's dog the other day and was very gentle as he patted "Midnight" on the head. Another neighbor has two little dogs that bark nonstop. Evan has found great fun in barking back at them.
All this discovery can really tucker a guy out.
11 months old!
Our big boy has mastered the art of walking. Therefore, sitting still
these days has become quite a challenge. Here's the good shot.
And here are the outtakes.
Um...excuse me...I have a question. Is this going to take very long?
Seriously mom?
Pooh looks like he needs a good shaking.
And now for my encore, I'll bite him on the head.
I think Pooh's had enough for one day. What else can I get into?
