St. Patrick's Day

Evan and I had fun celebrating our Irish heritage today!

10 months old!

Evan is 10 months old and loving it!  He gets into everything now, and definitely lets us know his dismay when we don't let him have what he wants.  He's doing really well standing by himself and tries his darnedest to climb on everything.

Hmmm...I bet if I stand on dad's face I can make it onto the couch.

When Evan isn't standing on dad's face, he's usually sitting on his lap.  One of his new favorite spots.

In other news...

Chris had a pretty bad weekend last week.  He sliced his thumb on Saturday night and had to get 5 stitches.

He got the stitches out today.  Ouch!!!

Then last Sunday, he turned on the wrong burner on the stove and Evan's bottle sanitizer went up in flames, literally.  Nothing a box of baking soda couldn't handle, though.

On the bright side, Chris's diet is going really well.  (He joined Weight Watchers at the beginning of February.)  He's already had to tighten up his belt by one spot.
