Another snow day!

Finally, a legitimate snow day.  It started around 12:40 p.m. and has been going strong ever since.  The people here are going crazy!  Everything in town has been closed/cancelled until Sunday, though that will probably be extended if it keeps snowing through the night.

Well, it's been quite some time since we've posted and I figured we were due for an update.  Since our last post, we have hosted our very first holiday, traveled to Chicago for Christmas, visited the Parthenon, and gone to countless basketball games.  Here are some pictures to chronicle our adventures.

Theo Chris and Claire hanging out at Christmas.

This was our New's Year's Eve adventure.  We visited the full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Nashville.  It was built in 1897 for the Tennessee Centennial Exposition.

Athena is so huge, we couldn't fit her head in the photo.  She's 42 feet tall!

These doors weigh in at 7.5 tons each.  They are the only set of matching bronze doors this large in the world.

This is how much snow it takes to cancel school for two days in TN.  Luckily, those days were Thursday and Friday.  Yay for four-day weekends!
