We had a couple of Chris's colleagues over for dinner last night, and one of them brought some gifts for Evan.  The new toys were nice, but the wrapping paper and bows were super cool!

Sweet Potato Puffs...Yum!!

Evan has a newfound love...puffs.  He has banana puffs at school with breakfast and for a snack, and sweet potato puffs with dinner.  I think he would be happy to only eat puffs if we let him.

7 months old!

Our big boy is 7 months old already!

If you look carefully (through his cheesy grin),

you can see his top four teeth that came in a couple weeks ago.

He really enjoys helping out at meal time by grabbing the spoon and shoving it in his mouth,

or as close as he can get to it.  Mom and dad are not as big of fans.



Thanksgiving

We had a great time visiting my family for Thanksgiving.  It was Evan's first time travelling out of TN, and he loved grandma and grandpa's house.  (Although, he definitely did not love the road trip.)  He had so much fun playing with everyone, especially grandpa.   They are best buds!

It was also Evan's first time meeting great-grandma and grandpa Vande Werken.

We put mom and dad's tree up on Friday morning, and later in the afternoon their neighbor came over to take a few pictures for our Christmas cards.  You'll have to wait to see the good pictures, but here are a couple bloopers.

Evan learned to sit with his tongue hanging out from Emma, his girlfriend at school.  Emma is three months older than Evan, and he follows her around like a puppy dog.  Oh, to be young and in love.
